One month in! It’s great!
I’ve been wearing the oura ring gen 4, stealth, size 9 for exactly one month now.First off, sizing.I was between sizes 9 and 10. I opted for the smaller size using this little test: Using the plastic ring sizes, if you cannot take off the ring in the morning when your fingers are puffiest, and the only way to do so is by wetting your finger to add some slippage, then that’s the right size. With the bigger size, I was able to take off the ring in the morning without using water so I felt that size was too big. One month later, I am glad I went with the smaller size. No discomfort and still using water in the morning to take off the ring before I shower.ComfortI wear it on my right index finger. I did not like in between fingers, which is the reason I wear a silicone wedding band. But overall, it’s not very intrusive. It’s annoying to write with a pen or pencil but that’s not often.AppearanceI love the stealth color. Already got a few scratches on my palm side, which is a little annoying. But I tell myself that at least the back of my hand, the ring looks like new. I use these silicone protectors when working out with weight and it does a great job. The scratches came from handling things where I should have taken off my ring. I wish there were some way to make the scratches less visible as these scratches you see a shiny silver metal which contrasts a lot!BatteryNo issues. I charge it every few days or so while I shower. I am manually trying to keep the battery at between 25% and 75% but most often I forget that I left it charging and it goes back to 100%.Sleep TrackingI’m not a power user. I enjoy checking in the morning my sleep score and compare it to how I thought my sleep went the night prior. Pretty accurate sleep tracking in my opinion.Fitness Tracking.So we all know that the step counter is way off so I don’t really care about that. However, the ring really is good at spotting fitness “events” and I love that when opening the app, there’s a backlog of events that you have to confirm the type of activity. My top three are: housework, walking, and HIIT. The app gets better at recognizing the events so most times I am just confirming instead of categorizing. Overall, this level of tracking is simply encouraging me to be more active, which has lead to a good impact on my health.Overall, pretty satisfied with the ring. Glad I got it.

Didn’t know I would love this so much
This has been so much better than an Apple Watch. From being able to comfortably sell wearing my Oura ring, to giving me valid, easy to understand health information and advice, I have been very impressed with my purchase. I also love how quickly it charges – I can shower and come back to a full charge in 15 minutes. I love the sleep tracking insights, reminders based on my health data and feel like I can see the value. Things I would love to see in the future are more app integrations listed. I know it syncs to apple health, so most apps will integrate, but would love to see a more robust list within Oura’s app. I’d also love to see a less bulky version in future models. I have tiny fingers so it is incredibly noticeable, but worth it for the value. In hindsight, I should e paid more for the gold to match with all my other jewelry. I didn’t know I’d be this happy, so I’m willing to overlook that detail (just a recommendation that it might be worth considering if you wear other jewelry regularly).

Amazing and very helpful if you have anxiety
The brushed silver is much nicer than standard silver one, the standard silver one is ugly.Brushed silver looks so much better.It tracks sleep very well and gives you great insight to your health. Never would I have thought of spending this kind of money on a health ring, but it helps my anxiety – Just be aware for all the features you have to subscribe and its an annual fee, that is the only down side so far. It also scratches very easily so if you work with your hands, or are clumsy its gonna scuff.

Great product, but room for improvement.
I love this ring. It holds up well to working in the yard and with tools. It’ll appear scratched, but it’s fine. I like that it reminds me to get up when I’ve been zoned in at work. I like that it charges quickly, which I do daily while I shower. It’s usually fully charged when I get back to it 15-20 minutes later. It’s lightweight and comfortable. It was easy to set up, and the connectivity is great. I do have a couple of issues with it though.Cons… my finger is in between sizes. They recommend going with the smaller, but when using the sizing kit to try the ring sized for a few days before committing, I just couldn’t wear the smaller size for long periods of time. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The ring doesn’t fall off, but it’s definitely too big. It’ll slip off if my hand is wet. This is why I will never wear it washing hands, showering, swimming, etc. I clean it almost daily, so I haven’t noticed any issues with sensors getting blocked or grimy. The other issue I have is that you have to actively be on the app for information to transfer. I didn’t realize this for several days, so I went about a week without checking the app and while the backlogged data synced with the Oura app when I opened it, albeit incredibly slowly… the Apple health app wasn’t able to capture the data that was missed for the previous days. If the app is open, whether I’m looking at it or not, data should be able to transfer. I’m not sure why it waits until you open up and stare at the screen before it begins to update.

Sleep Tracker A+++
I have had this ring now for three months and can’t say enough good things about how he tracks my sleep and notifies me of any temperature changes or stress changes. My Apple Watch is great for notifications and tracking my workouts but this ring works great with the watch to really track my sleep as I didn’t like sleeping with my watch.Battery lasts 6 days and love the app. the only negative is the monthly charge but I can use my HSA to reimburse me. Bought with FSA funds this ring has really helped me understand my body and sleep patterns.
