Melted before delivery.. even in winter.
I love British chocolates. I only order them during the winter so that they don't melt before they get to me. Unfortunately, either they were stored or shipped in a environment that was too warm and they were all melted. I know it wasn't on my front porch long enough to melt as I collected them minutes after delivery since my last order was either lost, delivered to an address similar to mine (i hate it when they use USPS to ship packages) or stolen.

    It was fun to have different chocolate bars to enjoy. They each tasted fresh, none had previously melted, and the packaging was in perfect condition. I wish they'd use a piece of cardboard backing in the package though because each bar was broken at least in half. I didn't really mind too much because it didn't impact freshness, taste, or quality, but it would've bothered me if I'd bought it as a gift.

I thought maybe it was my fault getting chocolate sent to Arizona when the temps were above 80 degrees but I have received other chocolates at the same time and didn’t have this issue. The whipped mint candy still tasted good and it would have been better had it not been melted but the other flavors were just meh. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this box in a cooler season to see what I was missing, as the flavor and quality wasn’t there to make me try again. Hard pass for me on these.
