This is not a set, it is a HD5(FAN-HD v5) handheld remote only, NOT include a receiver or 9V battery. This remote NOT have Reverse button and can NOT be used to control Up and Down light ceiling fan. This remote works with FAN28R/FAN18R receiver(303.9MHz). If your original transmitter looks different from this remote, please purchase a complete kit with a receiver in the store.
This Fan-HD remote replacement for Hampton Bay Hunter Harbor Breeze and other compitable remotes(303.9 MHz). Make sure your original remote the same as the picture shows, and check the number on the back of your original remote, it need has FCC ID/Model: UC7078T CHQ7078T CHQ8BT7078T FAN-HD L3H2010FANHD L3H2014FANHD RR7079T.
This remote have 5 buttons, 3-Speed (HI/MED/LO) and FAN OFF for fan speed control, LIGHT DIMMER for Dimming. Please note that this Remote does not have the button of Reverse or UP/DOWN. Light dimmer button just controls the brightness of the incandescent lights and some dimmable LED lights, Most LED lights and all CFL lights are Not Dimmable, and the remote only control the On/Off in that case.
Look the DIP Codes inside the old remote with the battery cover off, the DIP Switches hidden behind the slot for the battery as picture shows. Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote. Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work.
