Outstanding mic and even more outstanding software.
This is an old model and cheap but the quality is amazing. I live in the Philippines and there is an air conditioner right above my head but the noise is completely blocked by the software. The mic is great value by itself but with the free and super easy to use software it’s an outstanding value. You will not be disappointed.

Great mic, pretty good price
Pros:- Mute button is nice. I was looking for a mic with a mute button, for when people enter my room unexpectedly while I’m talking to friends online. It works great.- Sounds great, even from a couple feet away and at a slight angle. I am not interested in keeping my mouth directly on a microphone, so I looked for one that was good at a slight distance. It also has a built in feature that removes sharp sibilant sounds, like “S” and “T”. I haven’t tested this feature extensively, but it seems to work well – no pop filter necessary.- Nice and thin, easy to keep on a desk.- USB-C, much better than the micro USB on my Blue Yeti Nano. The port on my Yeti Nano broke, which is why I had to buy a new mic in the first place.- Looks pretty, though that’s subjective. I like the aesthetics quite a bit, looks modern and sleek.Cons- It’s a bit pricey. I don’t regret buying it at this price, but I wouldn’t say it’s a super competitive price either. Easier to justify for a livestreamer, less easy to justify just for Discord or Zoom.- Kinda tall. If I have it in front of me it blocks my view of my screen. However, I’m comparing it to my Yeti Nano, which is a particularly small mic. It’s probably no taller than a full sized Blue Yeti or other similar mics. I keep it off to the side a bit which solves this issue, and it still sounds fine. Conclusion: I am happy with my purchase. It’s a very welcome upgrade from my Blue Yeti Nano. You could probably find a better bang-for-your-buck mic, especially if you don’t care about the features I do (size, mute button, USB-C). But if this mic lasts for years like my old mic did, then it will certainly have been worth the money.

Crystal clear with nice base
One of the strengths of the Elgato Wave 3 is its crisp and clear sound quality. The microphone captures vocals with impressive clarity, making it perfect for streaming and podcasting. The cardioid polar pattern ensures that background noise is minimized, allowing my voice to come through loud and clear. It also delivers a nice bass response, adding depth and richness to my recordings. While it may not have the deepest bass compared to some high-end studio microphones, it still provides a warm and full sound that enhances the overall audio experience. If there’s one thing I would change it’s the height of the stand. It’s a bit too short for my taste.

Great-sounding USB mic for the price point.
I bought this mic because I got a new pair of headphones that had a super low-quality built-in mic. If you set this thing up right (appropriate distance from your face and in a reasonable orientation) it sounds great. The anti-clipping works great. The built-in wind/pop filter works pretty well. The mute button and visual indicator are a nice quality-of-life feature. If you like to do any streaming, the wavelink software is nice and easy to set up.My only negative is that nothing that I personally use can really take advantage of the 96 kHz sample rate, so if I were to do it over, I might get the Wave:1 and save a couple bucks for essentially the same mic.

I have both the Blue Yeti and this mic and this mic’s quality seems to be a little better. Great product.

Awesome Mic with a Learning Curve
This usb microphone came highly recommended from the streaming community and from many of my gaming friends online. And let me say, the recommendations were all correct.First, and arguably most important, the mic is VERY much worth the price in it’s own right. As a usb condencer, it’s not going to be the best quality, but for the price it sounds awesome right out of the box. Simple physical setup, just plug in the usb cord, and away you go. After some tuning in OBS, this thing is smoooooth. The real value, and pain, is in the wave software. I unfortunately found an audio bug when first installing and had to reinstall the software to get a perminent loop out of the feed. Once working correctly, I needed to go through at least a couple hours of setup to sort all my sound outputs (games, music, browser, discord, etc) and configure OBS. I’m pretty technical myself, so when I say it took awhile to wrap my head around the process… Yeah… But! The end product is totally worth it, as I have much better control over sound vs the alternatives and the recordings sound awesome! As a tip: I did opt to split the direct mic feed from the stream within OBS. I have Mic1 as my actual wave 3 mic and Mic2 as the wave stream. This allowed me to do some fine turning within OBS on my voice without influencing game sound. Again, more setup, more time, more Alpha Gaming youtube videos to watch.Overall, I’ve invested 3-4 solid hours into just initial setup and getting familiar with the basics of this mic. I will probably spend more time messing around and tweaking options. That being said, I am very happy with the product and look forward to improvements on the software side. The software actually makes it easier in the long run, so the initial investment in time is 100% worth the effort. Also, get a mic boom arm. This microphone loves being close close close to your face.

One of the best mics to own.
One of the easiest mics to own and setup.+ Lightweight, NOT bulky at all+ Software is great and easy to use+ USB-C, does not need the power of an external interface (so powered by USB should be enough)- Have to use software/mixing to remedy background noise (most mics need this anyway)

I have tested multiple office speakerphones (Jabra, Poly, …) and they were all unsatisfactory for my need. I needed a setup without headphones for day-to-day business calls. Although I tested speakerphones in a range up to three hundred euros, none were good enough. This microphone out of the box gives perfect clarity and natural sound to the listening public. In combination with its software and VST plugins it is the perfect solution for my needs. I use it in conjunction with a small Poly speaker and it works great. I am using a pop filter but soon plan to buy an Elgato LP mic arm and vibration diffuser.

As a Mac professional with a sleek MacBook Pro 16″ M3 and Studio Display setup, the Elgato Wave:3 fits perfectly into my minimalist workspace. This microphone is a game-changer for anyone who does frequent video calls, podcasting, or streaming.Pros:Stunning build quality that matches Apple’s aestheticSuper easy USB-C connectivity with my MacBook ProWaveLink software is intuitive and great for managing audio sourcesCrisp, clear vocal recording with built-in Clipguard technologyCompact design doesn’t clutter my clean desk setupCons:Limited to cardioid pattern (might be restrictive for some)Bass response is slightly under-emphasizedPlastic mount feels less premium compared to the mic itselfThe touch-sensitive mute button and LED indicator are particularly nice touches. For professionals who need a reliable, plug-and-play microphone that looks great and sounds clean, the Elgato Wave:3 is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for Mac users and content creators.Would I buy again? Absolutely.

I got a product with damaged packaging, strange dots on the mic, and black powder inside the box. Seems like it was used before.
